I've discovered I can record my own voice on iMovie. I can then save the file as a .mov and it will play in QuickTime Player. But, because iMovie is trying to save the file as a "movie" and not just an audio file, when it plays back it opens as a black box (where the video would play, if there was video.) Is there a way to change a .mov file into an MP3 or something similar? (I'm assuming that the file ends up bigger than it needs to be, too, because of the black screen thing, although I could be wrong on that front.) Can anyone help? Small words are probably called for, LOL.

I'm on a Mac, FYI, in case that wasn't obvious from the iMovie thing.
