This story is so good OMG.

If you like Firefly, read it. Long and plotty and the voices are fantastic and I WAS SO UNPREPARED OMG. (And when I say "unprepared" I mean I didn't realize what PAIRING it was, and OMG I love surprises SO MUCH.)
