Fic: Crossed Lines (AoN prequel)

janedavitt owed moosesal a ficlet for some reason that I can't recall, and Moosesal requested Giles/Xander in the Act of Nature 'verse. Jane came up with the idea, I just jumped in and tagged. We both wrote all the characters, which is a bit different from our usual method, but I think it still works. It's set pre-AoN.

I want enough energy to write, damn it.

I'm looking forward to the premiere of The Inside tonight, even though I have no idea if it's going to be any good or not. But I'm hopeful.

Need to think of something to have for dinner.

Need to buy vitamins.

Re: Act of Nature and John McIntyre

I was going to leave this info in comments, but it felt like I'd be typing it out an awful lot of times, so I'm just going to post about it. John, the original character from the Giles/Xander story janedavitt and I wrote together, Act of Nature, is also the star main character of the novel we've just finished. It's an AU version of John that presumably never met Xander and Giles (although it's possible there's a way to reconcile the two alternate universes, Jane and I really didn't try to) and it's slash, and we're hoping to sell it once it's no longer a rough draft.

Anyway, that's just so people know, since it seems like quite a few of you have expressed love for John. (Oh, and that fellow in my icon is Nick, the story's other main character. No, really, that's Nick. It's not an Israeli actor named Eyal Podell. Honest.)
