I'm watching this movie "Flood," because Robert Carlyle is in it.
It's not a very good movie, unfortunately. And there are too many other actors getting too much screen time, LOL. Unfair! Robert Carlyle should be on screen every moment!
*Yawn*
The house is cold, wahhh. But we're going to have nice hot soup and bread for dinner, yay! And the laundry is almost done, yay!

Hey, have you seen the Hamish McBeth series? If not, I can send them to you. He is delightful in that.

Date: 2008-10-29 06:19 pm (UTC)I adore Ravenous. It's one of my very favorite Carlyle movies. Sooo weird and slashy and bloody and strange and....strange.

Date: 2008-10-30 12:41 am (UTC)Carla's Song is amazing, as is Go Now. And Face. And To End All Wars. And Plunkett and Maclaine....There's Only One Jimmy Grimble, Once Upon a Time in the Midlands, Trainspotting, of course, The Mighty Celt, Angela's Ashes if you can stand the angst... Also rather angsty would be Black and White, Hitler: The Rise of Evil - he's an amazing Hitler - Human Trafficking and Gunpowder, Treason and Plot, wherein he plays King James I.
Formula Fifty-One *aka The Fifty-first State* was funny, if a bit gross. Aaaaaaaand...that's pretty much it for stuff that's not too difficult to find. Oh! He was also in an episode of Cracker, called 'To Be a Somebody'.
His newer stuff is all pretty much just out this year and not available anywhere yet.
Enjoy!
