I'm watching a videotape of old Sentinel episodes.

Every once in a while, at the bottom of the screen, near the little SciFi logo, a notice comes on "Next: Sliders!"

And every single time, I think, "Oooh, Sliders! I haven't seen that in ages!"

Then I remember that I am watching a videotape. :-P

I have Sliders on DVD...

Not mine though. A friend of hubby (the one who got us into Buffy actually) lent it to us. I must say it's not quite as watchable as Buffy or SPN. After about five episodes I started getting bored.

Heh! I'm watching old Sentinel videotapes while decluttering, and I've seen that Sliders note. I'm also getting a laugh out of the commercial buffer, 'Quantum Fax Message From The Future.' I wonder when they stopped doing those. "Take in a dolphin show. We really miss them." "Save the rainforest, the ape overlords say that's where the best bananas were."

I'm watching them taped off Scifi Channel in the 4 hour Sentinel Tuesday block. Just saw an ad for Brimstone, too. Lot of good shows that don't get rerun any more.

Hahahaha, I've done that so many times with recorded television shows.

About as many times as I try to fast-forward live television when we continue to be without a DVR. :D
