I finished writing this original fic story, which I'm really happy with, and yet I cannot find a title for it. Argh! I am so bad at this!

Hunh, that's so interesting. I can't finish a story unless it has a name. Sometimes, I can't even really start one.

There've been times I came up with a title before the story, but they're very rare. This part is much more common for me -- story finished, ready to be sent in, and yet here it sits on my harddrive because I can't come up with a title. *Grumbles*

Oh man, tell me about it. I once spent an hour writing a drabble and then four hours trying to find a title for it. For a drabble! I so suck at finding titles. I usually think of a word that describes it and then go googling it with 'lyrics' trying to see if it's been used in a nice sentence somewhere. And then I steal it.

Granted, this only works in about 25% of cases. The other 75% I give up and settle on something I don't even like. *sighs*

YES. I do the thing with googling lyrics/quotes/poems, and yeah, it only works sometimes.

I have this darned story all ready to send in, and I can't because it has no title! (I mean, I guess I could send it in untitled and come up with a title later, but...)

Ugh, titles.
I used to think it was fun to hunt around for titles but lately I find it a real chore. I still don't like the title I ended up giving my last fic.

I am the worst at titling things. Sometimes if I'm stuck I'll look in the story itself and use a line or a phrase that fits.

Yeah, I've tried everything I usually try -- looking at lyrics/quotes/poems, looking for a line within the story, etc -- and I'm just not having any luck.
