wesleysgirlUm, 8:20 pm is TOO LATE to be going door to door ringing people's doorbells, THEN knocking loudly when the doorbell ringing didn't get an immediate response, ESPECIALLY when the house in question's porch light is turned out.
That's lovely that you're offering a free cleaning of a room's worth of carpeting or a piece of furniture, but 1) I'm sure there's a catch, like that I have to pay for one service to get the other one for free, and 2) it's currently 7 degrees with the wind chill factor, our entire street is a giant ice slick that cars have been struggling on all day. GO HOME. Or at least go somewhere warm. Please. And if you need the job that badly, I am really sorry, and I wish you could have come in for a cup of hot tea.
