The short-lived series Roar, starring Heath Ledger, was my favorite show at the time it was on.

The Sci-Fi channel is playing a mini-marathon of episodes starting this morning, 8 am to 4 pm today, 8 episodes in a row. So if you haven't seen the show and are a fan of Heath Ledger's, this would be a good opportunity to take a quick look (or a longer one) and see if the show's to your taste.

Oh I've heard about this show, Heath fangirl that I am! Pity we don't have the Sci Fi channel. Sigh. Ah well I'm sure I can DL it somewhwere. I love these Mediaeval Fantasy type series. He's awfully pretty (and so young!) in it.

There are only 13 episodes, so at least it wouldn't be an impossible amount to download. He is *so* young in the show, and very pretty, and fairly talented. Not the best actor ever, but quite good.

Darn it, I'm out of video tape- will definately be watching (in 25 minutes).

I should see if I can beg copies from The Programmer, my friend who makes The Trio look like pikers in the matter of taped/dvd episodes of everything.

Julia, if The Programmer lives to 100 and never watches anything new, he still won't havetime to rewatch everything he's got on tape

It really was quite a good show. Not the best ever, but definitely better than some of the schlock that's been on for many seasons.

of course they would show it while i was AT WORK.... *pout* i watched it back in the day because i thought he was cute. :D and then i think i just thought it was silly, but i still liked it. and then they canceled it. why don't they show the good mini-marathons during the weekend or at night?

Yeah, it's not the best show ever, but there were things about it I really liked. Sci-Fi is running another mini-marathon next month and I'll try to remember to post a reminder about it a few days before.
