Chobani Nonfat vanilla greek yogurt with a handful of diced cherries stirred in. Better than ice cream. 16 g protein and SO GOOD.

Quaker Cracker Jack Butter Toffee rice cakes. Okay, so they're not technically all that good for you, but I was craving something sweet and crunchy, and one did the trick nicely for only 60 calories.

LUSH OMG!!! I've been getting the catalogs for ages and reading them with much interest, but a store just opened at our local mall and this was the first time I'd actually been into one. Mr WG got a couple of solid shampoo bars to take to the gym with him, the boy got two bath bombs (Big Blue and The Happy Pill) and I got some soap (Sexy Peel and Rock Star) and very small amounts of two different facial cleansers (Coalface Cleanser and Angels on Bare Skin) to try out, and a tiny sample of Skin Drink moisturizer, and then we got a few little soap samples, too. The girls who worked there were so nice, and so enthusiastic about their products, and spent ages talking to the boy and showing him things. Now I just hope I end up liking the products as much as I liked shopping there! I'd love to hear about which products other people like, if you feel like sharing...

• Yard sales!!! We went out to hit just a few that sounded good this morning, and had fantastic luck. At the first one we got a huge, like-new suitcase (much nicer quality than the smaller one I paid more than twice as much for at Target a few months back), 3 good quality fishing poles for $10 total (we'd been talking about buying some inexpensive ones to mess around with), and a pizza paddle (for sliding homemade pizza onto the pizza stones). Then, at the second one, we got a tackle box full of hooks, weights, etc, 5 books for the boy, two DVDs (one Pokemon and one Muppets), a brand new Science kit with magnet experiments, a flag for the front porch, and a board game for a total of $5. Finding the fishing supplies at the second yard sale after getting the poles at the first one really clinched the success of the day, I think. It was very satisfying.

Oooooooh, Lush. I adore my 'Demon in the Dark' soap - mint and cloves and *yum*. Also, 'Washday Greens', if i'm not mistaken, is a lovely, tingly, minty shampoo that i like very much.

I really like coalface a whole ton, and every facial moisturizer I've tried has been excellent. Their soap dries my skin out a bit (I live in the desert, so I need moisture), and their body lotions aren't really for me.

Oh! Their face masks are excellent as well. The lettuce one is a show stopper.

I didn't even take the time to look at the lotions -- the store was small but there was an awful lot packed in there.

I've had hit and miss with Lush. I liked The Olive Branch shower gel, the Butterball bath bomb (probably my favorite of their products), Lemslip buttercream and Sultana of Soap soap. Was disappointed in the bath melts (you don't get as much for you money and they were ho-hum), and I hate the little bits of things they put in the stuff, like the glitter and stuff that clings all over the bathtub.

I can get a three or four baths out of the bath bombs. I break them up and use them up a little at a time and stretch them with Epsom salts. I still have stuff that I bought at Lush in Stratford on Avon last year that I need to use!

I'm not a bath-taker for the most part so the bath bombs and melts don't really interest me, but I do love yummy-smelling soap a LOT.

I really like the shower gels, especially Flying Fox (jasmine!!) and Sonic Death Monkey (chocolate!) I am a bit conflicted about the bath bombs - as someone else says, the glittery bits they put in can be a problem, and the one I looooooved (Youki-hi) stained my tub pink in a way that took A LOT of elbow grease to remove. Recently I've been using the Soak 'n Float solid shampoo and find it does good things for my dry scalp.

I'll definitely try the shower gels at some point -- I'm still working my way through The Body Shop shower gels from the last time I went on a spree, LOL. Sonic Death Monkey is such a great name!

I'd heard from Mieke all about Lush and so wanted to like their stuff. We were in Ft. Myers shopping at one of the malls there, and we stepped into the store. Such a great looking little store! But I had to vacate the premises quickly. The overwhelming combination of scents nearly set off a migraine. I was disappointed. :( but Mieke swears by their products, especially their skin Drink moisturizer. And she's got beautiful skin, so it must be good!.

It is a VERY smelly store; I can understand why people would find it overpowering.

That's the second rec for Sonic Death Monkey, so I'll definitely have to get my hands on some.

I love Lush! I second the recommendation to break the bath bombs rather than use a whole one at once. Those things are strong. I really like their solid shampoo that has the seaweed in it- can't remember what it's called off the top of my head, but it's great. All of their stuff smells so great.

I'm so used to traditional shampoo that I'm a bit puzzled about the solid shampoo thing, but I suppose I'll try it at some point!

Yeah, it weirded me out at first too. But it's fantastic for traveling- no way for it to spill or leak, don't have to worry about taking liquids on a plane, and lasts much longer than liquid shampoo of the same size.
