I keep thinking that I'm going to post, but then when I sit down to write something it all seems stupid and pointless, hence the fact that all I've been posting is recipes (good) and OCD stuff (a lot less good). My brain is pretty screwed up, sadly, and I'm starting to realize that there's no cure for that, not really, not a permanent cure. There are things that help, but there's no magical solution. It's hard.

I ordered some Gnu fiber bars because justhuman likes them and who couldn't use more fiber? Only that would be me, apparently, now that I'm eating all these fruits and vegetables, LOL. I ordered one of every flavor except the orange cranberry, which I've already tried -- it was good, the orange flavor very strong, nice and moist. JH has warned me that the chocolate brownie flavor is bad, but I had to try it for myself. The funny thing is, I ordered them last week, and then last night thought, "Hey, whatever happened to my fiber bars?" So I went to my inbox and found the email from when the package had shipped, and clicked on the tracking link, and it said "delivered 7/17, side door." And I went, "HUH? It's, like, the 22nd!" And sure enough, my fiber bars had been sitting between the side screen door and the side door for five days, LOL. Luckily, they were totally fine. Good thing it wasn't a nice box of chocolates, though!

One week from now, I'll be at the airport waiting to fly out to Writercon! Yay!!! I am nervous about the traveling part of the trip, as always, but otherwise really looking forward to it. Still trying to decide if it's worth the effort to lug the laptop along with me -- it'd be a lot less hassle to leave it at home...
