Great pacing and characterization in this story. It felt very much like something that could play on screen. I also like how you solved the differences between vampires in the two 'verses. The story ends on a really nice open-ended note. That particular chapter is done, but the novel can go on so to speak.
Well done, I really enjoyed it. I'm glad I found this story & hope that you might revisit the setting again some day.
