Spn fic help?

So, I realized this morning that part of the problem with scanning the Spn newsletter for names I recognize is that it's not a particularly helpful method of identifying stories I should read when I am unfamiliar with the vast majority of Spn writers.

Therefore, a question: Who are the big name writers in Spn fandom? Which writers are producing a fair amount of quality fic? Help me, oh flist!

Off the top of my head, I'm thinking about poisontaster - she also writes a lot with her fic!wife mona1347 - estrella30, miss_begonia, technosage, deviant_dev. There's also rejeneration and, okay, many others. That fandom has so many talented writers!

Also, try crack_impala, as it has awesome recs daily.

And...hrmmm...maygra, and big_pink and minkmix, who also does Dark Angel, Alec-centric fic, and musesfool and black_regalia and kroki_refur.

It depends a little on what you're looking for. But off the top of my head:

poisontaster, keepaofthecheez, mona1347, janissa11, phaballa, miss_begonia, estrella30, destina, deirdre_c, sevenfists, maygra, ignipes, eloise_bright... Ok, I could go on forever.

You know, I always suggest people go to esorlehcar's Reclists (She has a special one for RPS too) She's never rec'd anything I didn't like, I think.

Also! eloise_bright. She writes some of the best gen there is around, and her slash fics are hotter than hot too.

halfshellvenus writes really good drabbles, mostly gen but occasionally wincest. also i second (third?) eloise_bright, minkmix, lyra_wing, and ignipes. of those, mink is currently the most prolific. she posts about a fic a day and pretty much everything she writes is gen.
