I am checked in for my flight tomorrow morning, and [livejournal.com profile] dragonydreams and I have coordinated our seating so we're sitting across the aisle from each other.

Um.

And that's all I've done so far, LOL.

I still have a million other things to do, like, oh, PACK.

Should I bring long pants, or is that overkill? I haven't worn anything but shorts at home for at least a month now, so it's hard to believe I'd need long pants.

This one was pretty good! I liked it. It tasted most strongly of lemon, and actually tasted quite a bit like lemon meringue pie, which was weird since the textures are so totally different. At first I couldn't taste the ginger at all, but by the time I was halfway through the bar, the ginger was making itself known as both a vague flavor and a slight burn at the back of my throat. Yum!

OMG don't click!!! )

The best news is that I am almost all packed, wheeeee! [livejournal.com profile] dragonydreams and I made a mutual decision to check our luggage (instead of struggling with trying to carry it all on) so all I have to take on with me is my purse and my laptop case. (I'm, like, 98% sure I'm taking the laptop with me.) And I need a book. And a protein bar, for emergencies. And speaking of protein bars, I'm hungry. Even though I just ate dinner.

I figure we can make plans for the rest of the weekend later, but I wanted to make sure there was at least a loose plan for Friday morning because I really need the motivation!

The fitness club at the Radisson is really nice from what I can tell. It's on the 17th floor and has its own locker rooms and a lot of equipment. You can get more info by clicking here, and you can see a virtual semi-tour here (but consider yourself warned, it's kind of slow to load and possibly not worth it).

The hours of the fitness club are 5 am (eek! and I'm an early riser!) to 10 pm.

Official Writercon activities start at 9:30 am Friday morning (opening ceremonies) so I'm going to turn up at the fitness club at 7:30 am. That gives me an hour to work out and then an hour after that to shower, get dressed, and grab something for breakfast. But we don't have to all turn up at the exact same time -- so feel free to leave a comment saying when you'll show up or to use the comments here to make specific plans to meet up with someone or other. Or whatever!

ETA - It has come to my attention that it's possible the fitness club is only for top-floor guests of the hotel, but I haven't been able to find any info on that one way or the other. If anyone can confirm/deny, that would be cool!
ETA2 - We're good, the fitness club is for all hotel guests. :-D Thank you, [livejournal.com profile] soundingsea!!
