Motorcycles.

How come it's against the law to drive around with your car's muffler busted off, but it's okay for motorcycles to be so loud that when they drive past my house the windows rattle?

I don't mind motorcycles at all, EXCEPT when they're insanely loud. That, I hate. :-(
