Anti-WW articles.
Feb. 3rd, 2008 10:49 amAt least some of you reading have probably come to the realization that I am anti-diet. That means I'm also anti-Weight Watchers. It doesn't mean that I am anti-healthy-eating. It means I don't believe limiting calories, counting calories, counting 'points', etc, are successful ways of becoming permanently thinner.
I do not want to debate this here. If you are trying to become thinner by any reasonable method (ie not an eating disorder), please know that I hope with all my heart that you find something that works for you and are happier for it.
Anyway, two interesting articles about Weight Watchers not working:
Weight Watchers Works. For Two Out of a Thousand. (And They Probably Weren't Fat To Begin With.) by fatfu.
One In a Thousand: A Break Up Story by Ottermatic.
