Because I am managing no writing of my own today, I offer you recs.

Dark Desire by [livejournal.com profile] lamardeuse. McKay/Sheppard, PG-13. Funny and quick and utterly charming.

Kept By Ourselves In Silence and Apart by The Spike. Dex/McKay. NC-17. Very dark, torture. Stark but kind of gorgeous in a dark and somewhat twisted way.

All You Can't Leave Behind by [livejournal.com profile] thenyxie. Mal/Zoe. Beautifully written coda to the film. He moves a step closer, fingers itching at his side to reach out and touch her shoulder, to offer her the comfort he'd give freely to any other one of his crew. But this is Zoë, and Mal only ever touches Zoë with his eyes.

This is what I do when I'm not accomplishing anything.

The Sort of Stopping By Woods on a Snowy Evening That Would Have Robert Frost Spinning In His Grave by [livejournal.com profile] annalazarus. Dean/Sam. NC-17. Fantastic dialogue -- so true to the show. You know, if Dean/Sam were part of the show. Dirty and hot and funny and touching. Sam and Dean add to a room's history.

Barbara Fisher, who writes a food blog I read very often, Tigers and Strawberries, had her baby prematurely yesterday. If you can spare baby Kat and her family some good thoughts and prayers, it would mean a lot to me. Thanks.
