I need coffee.

The boy and I are up. We're sitting in the living room watching cartoons. He's been watching much too much tv the past couple of days but I'm really just grateful that he's distracted because my mind is in a zillion other places. (For those of you not in the know, my nephew has just been diagnosed with a very serious medical condition.)

Many thanks to people who commented with recs yesterday -- I did read some of them, and I do appreciate it. I probably won't be responding to comments for a few days, but I'm gratefully hoarding everyone else's and re-reading them.
