Last week, I was snogged over at [livejournal.com profile] big_snog_weekly by the lovely [livejournal.com profile] janedavitt, among others.

The system is set up so that each person who's snogged then chooses the next person who gets snogged. So everyone go snog the lovely [livejournal.com profile] rubywisp! She deserves it. :-)

Secret? I can't imagine any of these are actually secret, not if you were to look at what I've written and my recs pages. Shameful? I don't feel particularly ashamed of any of them. Still, [livejournal.com profile] kita0610 said to.

1) I like fic where Spike gets called 'sweetheart.' It's not a general like; it only counts if it's Spike. Otherwise, I'm not interested.

2) For all my "I don't care for RPS, it leaves a bad taste in my mouth," when a plot bunny bites me on the ass, I jump like a cheap whore. Feel free to roll your eyes at me, I've certainly rolled them at myself enough times. :-P

3) Threesomes. Regardless of how unlikely it is that the three characters might end up together. Because, you see, when there are three characters and one of them is in need of some comfort, there is twice as much comfort available. And there is no such thing as too much comfort.

4) H/C. Oh baby. I will read total crap fic with terrible grammar if there's some h/c as the pay-off. Physical, emotional, it's all good.

5) Rescues. I'm classifying this as different from h/c even though h/c is inevitably a part of it. Character A is kidnapped/held hostage/being tortured and Character B has to rush in and save the day. Like #3, bonus points if Characters B and C rush in and save the day, then provide much-needed comfort.

6) Characters being drunk or high and easily admitting to things they otherwise would be tight-lipped about.

7) Characters getting very angry at each other with much shouting and possibly throwing things, then, still angrily, kissing and tearing off each other's clothes and going at it. Mmm.

Another frugal board I frequent had a link to this MSN article, 9 Ways to Look Rich But Live Cheap.

Clearly, I think there are benefits to living frugally, although a lot of the time my goal is as much about doing what's responsible for the planet (reuse, recycle) as about saving money. Are there really all that many benefits to "appearing rich" other than to impress other people? Is this a worthy goal? Discuss. :-P

[Crossposted to [livejournal.com profile] frgual_fans, which is where I actually meant to post it in the first place.]
