He does this thing with his voice where it goes impossibly gentle and it KILLS ME.

Most of my older Carlyle movies are VHS, and right now we don't have a working VCR. I must look into dvds!!!

That sucks! My mom has a vhs to dvd player thingy that will burn a cd/dvd copy. I need to make some of my vhs movies, so when i do, i'll make an extra for you!

I DID, IT WAS TOTALLY GREAT. The violent stuff was, you know, violent, though.

Yeah, it was, but the brutality of that reality - sorry - deserved something realistic and unflinching.
