Read fic! Fight cancer!

The lovely [livejournal.com profile] jolielaide is going to be running a half-marathon in October with Team in Training, which is a national organization that raises funds for research and support for leukemia and lymphoma. (You can read more details about the way this works in this post by [livejournal.com profile] witling.)

Anyway, [livejournal.com profile] witling is offering to write drabbles in exchange for donations toward Jolie's pledge to raise $2000, and I thought I'd throw my hat into the ring as well. If anyone would like me to write a ficlet for them click for more info: )

Come on, you know you want to. I'm even willing to try really crackalicious crossover pairings, JUST FOR YOU. Porn for charity!!!

Beta reader wanted.

[livejournal.com profile] janedavitt and I have finished our first round of edits on the sequel to our original m/m slash novel Laying a Ghost. We're looking for someone who has already read the first story to read through it for us. We're not looking for a proof-reader (although we'll love on you extra if you point out little errors) -- we want someone to pay close attention to the story and let us know what works, what needs fleshing out, when we've forgotten to have them take off their trousers before they have sex, etc.

Any takers?

Atlantis recs

Bottoms Up by [livejournal.com profile] alizarin_nyc. McKay/Sheppard. PG-13. John and Rodney are waiting to get off the Daedalus and back on earth after landing and there are some complications with Customs. OMG so cute and funny.

And Then There Was Finn by [livejournal.com profile] sheafrotherdon. McKay/Sheppard. R. Sequel to her Earth AU story A Farm in Iowa, which I adore beyond measure.

Doing This Here by [livejournal.com profile] purna. McKay/Sheppard. NC-17.

Kid A by Speranza. McKay/Sheppard. NC-17. "I'm not gay, Rodney," John says, and it's awkward to have to say it, but it really has to be said.
