You know what I miss?

I really miss just writing fic quick and dirty and posting it. I felt so connected to fandom when I did that. Now I work super slowly at stuff all behind the scenes and get caught up worrying that it's not good enough and then I stop before it's done and never post it.

It stinks. :-(

i really relate to this. I miss my beginning writer euphoria and that certainty that brand new fic writers have that everybody loves and is pining for their stuff. In your case, it is actually true.

Are you the best judge of your work right now?

You are an amazing writer, and i go back to your stories again and again. Please share when you can in the way that works best for you.

Ugh, I totally do this too now, it is the worsttttt. Is there something about being in fandom for awhile that does this to people?

I have no idea, but it suckkkkks. I have all these partially finished stories that I don't even bother to open anymore. I even tried sending them to people to read them and suggest ways to get the stories moving forward again, and then I couldn't even read the stuff the people sent me! UGH.

I totally understand.

Have you considered freewriting? You know, give yourself 45 minutes or an hour where you must sit and write and finish something, and when you're done post it! It's one way I get the juices flowing.
