Writercon Friday morning exercise session!

I figure we can make plans for the rest of the weekend later, but I wanted to make sure there was at least a loose plan for Friday morning because I really need the motivation!

The fitness club at the Radisson is really nice from what I can tell. It's on the 17th floor and has its own locker rooms and a lot of equipment. You can get more info by clicking here, and you can see a virtual semi-tour here (but consider yourself warned, it's kind of slow to load and possibly not worth it).

The hours of the fitness club are 5 am (eek! and I'm an early riser!) to 10 pm.

Official Writercon activities start at 9:30 am Friday morning (opening ceremonies) so I'm going to turn up at the fitness club at 7:30 am. That gives me an hour to work out and then an hour after that to shower, get dressed, and grab something for breakfast. But we don't have to all turn up at the exact same time -- so feel free to leave a comment saying when you'll show up or to use the comments here to make specific plans to meet up with someone or other. Or whatever!

ETA - It has come to my attention that it's possible the fitness club is only for top-floor guests of the hotel, but I haven't been able to find any info on that one way or the other. If anyone can confirm/deny, that would be cool!
ETA2 - We're good, the fitness club is for all hotel guests. :-D Thank you, [livejournal.com profile] soundingsea!!

My first panel is at 10 Friday morning, so I wouldn't want to work out any later than 8 (and preferably more like 7 or 7:30).

Wow. That almost made me ill just saying it.

Believe me, I know the feeling.

I, um. Won't be working out, heh. But i was under the impression the club was only for the top-floor guests? I could be wrong....

Huh. I wasn't able to find anything about that one way or the other... I guess we'll have to wait and see.

I guess so. I was reading about the whole hotel and that's just the impression i got, but i could be wrong, of course. I know that they have 'special' suites and such on the top floor, all oh la la with jacuzzies and whatnot.

I don't think I've ever even seen one in real life!

I just talked to the hotel; the fitness center is available for all guests, not just those staying on the plaza levels.
