My father can cook: spaghetti, chili (both of these are quite good), sloppy joes (with canned sauce), tacos (packaged seasoning at best--he also buys the preseasoned taco meat), scrambled eggs, and tuna salad. Everything else is frozen (pizza, etc.), or from the supermarket deli. He rarely remembers to make a vegetable. (I pleaded, and there are raw veggies now that turn up on my plate.)
In the past week, we've had: Chinese from the supermarket deli (twice), fried chicken from the supermarket deli, sloppy joes, tacos, frozen pizza, and Subway. These are all tasty, but after three weeks of eating like this, I'd like to go back to my very-little-red-meat, lots-of-veggies, whole-grains, style of cooking dinner. :)
