Interesting weather.

We've had some mildly interesting weather the past couple of days. Yesterday, it was rain rain rain. Then it stopped for a while before starting back up right around the boy's bedtime. Then in the middle of the night some very loud thunderstorms rolled through. Then the rain turned to hail and the hail to snow, so when we woke up this morning there were several inches of snow on top of a layer of ice. Whee! The boy's school had a two hour delay so he's just gone off a little while ago, and now I have much laundry to do, double whee. :-P

Got caught up on Torchwood last night (eps 3 and 4) and I expect I'll have something to say about them at some point, but not in the post. I need my tea!

It's amazing what a difference a couple dozen miles makes. I just had a light coating of snow (1/4 inch maybe) on my car I was able to remove with the squeegee end of my scraper this morning.

BTW, you were in my dream last night/this morning. I'm not sure if you're someone who likes to know what the dream was, so I won't tell you unless you want to know. It wasn't bad, though.

The weather has been surreal. Especially since, though I think I dozed off around 11:00 pm or 11:30, I remember the rain but heard no thunder. And I'm not THAT far away from you. My co-worker, who lives nearer, said it felt as though the thunder was shaking his whole apartment.

The snow this morning was almost reassuring. Prior to that I was thinking "Why are we getting April weather in the beginning of February?"

Clearly we need more pirates. ; )
