Has anyone seen, anywhere, any real explanation for what the heck is going on? I can't do ANYTHING from Safari on the downstairs computer, not even comment. On Mozilla (desktop) I can comment and make SHORT posts, but not longer ones, and I can't edit posts at all. (Which I'm sure sounds like not a big deal, but since I'm writing in several locked posts -- which I edit, write in, then save, only not because it WON'T SAVE -- it is, to me.)

I saw in someone else's computer that they were having problems with Firefox and doing much better wiht IE, which I know you don't have.. Unfortunately it looks like part of whatever is going on is a browser issue - you may want to stick with the one that's working better.

My comments have been late in arriving, my links list on friends pages in S2 has been a case of now you see it, now you don't - but I've only lost one comment eaten by the non-uploading gremlin. Posts are fine.

That said, I gave up Safari last year because it was slow and seemed to make the HD spin like a whirling dervish when it loaded some sights. I moved over to Camino, thought I'd regret it, but haven't. It's a gorgeous little browser.

I generally really love Mozilla. I only use Safari on the computer that's not mine (and therefore I can't mess around with it.) If it was JUST Safari that wasn't working, it would be annoying but doable. But since I can't post anything longer than a few lines and can't edit posts in ANY browser I have, it's OMG FRUSTRATING.

the only significant issue i've noticed is that my layout is all screwed up - ie, i don't have one. the header isn't loading, the layout and colors aren't loading. it's like some default web site page. very annoying and kind of hard to read. i got some comments out of order last night, but otherwise i can't tell if i'm actually getting them or not.
