I've been following him for years. He's smart, committed and articulate, an extremely important voice in LGTB rights. He wrote one of the most affecting articles I've ever read on the death of his mother. As tx_cronopio says, he's not to everyone's taste, but he brings the fire to the bigots and never lets up. I admire him for that.
